A reminder, in the event of school closure, parents will be informed in the following ways:
School closures before the day begins:
1.  An email from the school will be sent to the main email address on file
2.  Announcement on school website www.cornerstonechristianacademy.ca under News
3.  listen to radio station CKNW NEWS 1130AM.  The station will list the school cancellations due to weather or access the radio station's website:  www.news1130.com for a listing of closed schools
4.  Look out for messages on your phone from your PSG classroom reps as they help us spread the announcements too.
 
School closures during the school day:
In the event, the school day has begun but the school is required to be closed, the school administration will make a decision as to how long the students can remain on school site.
1.  Parents/guardians will be contacted immediately to make arrangements for the pick up of the students.
2.  If a parent/guardian cannot be contacted, then the alternative contact (as listed on the emergency card) will be contacted to make arrangements for pick up of the student
3.  This procedure also applies to the Afterschool Extended Care Program
